Why does the city wait until it is too late to do something about this type of problem. Ignoring the problem will not make it go away. There are too many people that gets injured or killed do to the fact of this type of condition. The DOT needs to make the right decisions in the correct time and manner. The DOT jobs is the safety of everyone on the road either if it is in the city limits or in the county that the DOT works in. The pipes will not fix itself. Is the city and county of Gainesville, Georgia going to turn out like Atlanta, Georgia? How much more will the tax payers pay until this problem is fixed correctly? How many motorist will get injured or be killed do to the DOT's mismanagement? Something needs to be done!
