The sad part of any great man or woman is that they are not enough people alive to replace this type of character. What makes us an American Citizen is not because we are born or legally accepted in to the great nation. We become American Citizen of these United States of America do to are character and devotion towards ourselves and others. Being anything or anyone is based on how we live our lives each and every day. During President Gerald Ford funeral, everyone has stated this about him. Everyone says something good about the one who dies. What was said about President Gerald Ford was something a whole lot more.

What we need to do when a great person like President Gerald Ford dies is to live as he did. We are never asked to live in the place of another, but we can take by example of how great people like President Gerald Ford lived and integrate it in our own lives. That way that person can continue to live in us each and every day. President Gerald Ford did not have an easy life because he lived like he did. He lived as he did because he did not have an easy live. Do not think that live is easy. When we can live as we should no matter what adversities happen in our lives, then we can live like President Gerald Ford.

To know how well you live can be based on how you die. Can any of us state that we can die like President Gerald Ford? If you cannot state this, then you might need to change the way you think. Who we are is based on how we think. When we are born, we are given a biological life and a soul life. We must be mature in both lives to live as we should. How you live your life is up to you. Make it a good life.

Google Still OK With Erotica

I praise Google for controlling the pornography of what they control on their servers. The issue with pornography will not stop with them. No one can say this enough, "Parents needs to be involved in their children life including the Internet." If you have heard of a child that got a computer that was full of pornography websites once the child went online, parents needs to be there and teach them about the human body witch includes "sex education." Unless parents keeps their children isolated from the world, they are going to see this junk. It by them teaching their children about the human body that will make the difference in how their children handles this junk.

It is amazing to me that the greatest country in the world is so fearful of the naked body while at the same breath accept so much pornography ideologies on the media. From watching an episode of Dr. Phil Show, I have learned that other countries sees everything, nudity, mom and dad making love (what I call "sex love" or "sexual love"), and even bathe together as a family. I have wondered very strongly on the idea of having us Americans do the same thing in the homes. If the parents control this in the home, it will not go into a sexual orgy or the like. Children will be able to see that the human body is a wonderful thing as well as how to be responsible for their own bodies even in "sexual loving" when the time comes. It is best to learn and live then the other way around. Proper parenthood makes all the difference.

Schools may take hit on bullying plan

It is amazing since September 11, 2001, school have been having more security problems then before. I think the problem is not the violence, but what are parents teaching their children? God did not give the children to the state to raise. Over seventy years ago, parents were the one that paid for their children's behavior, either legally or otherwise. Now days parents do not want to take responsibility for anything their children do. That is very sad.

If parents show hatred by not spending time with their children, then their children will respond to it, and it looks like they have already by so much violence in school. Schools cannot teach love to children because they are not the parents of these children. I think that is why so many are easily end up with certain teachers that will take advantage of them by molesting them. It is the only love these children gets in their life. It is so important that children gets the proper love they need in their lives. PARENTS are the only ones that can give this kind of love.

If parents do not want to spend time with their children, then then either need to keep from getting pregnant, or they need to give their babies up for adoption. There is no reason for children to suffer because of parents do not want to be responsible. The issue is not how well the school are doing. It is how children are raised at home.

Americans spend every cent - and more

This article is the reason why I dread the Christmas Holidays. I do not and will never dread Christmas. I reflect my life in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for the entire human race on the Cross every day. That is what Christmas is all about, the Cross. We are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ because of what Christ did. Christmas is a Christian Holiday. What I dread is that most Americans do not accept Christmas as they should.

There is nothing wrong with buying gifts for others, all the decorations, and the other stuff we do during these holidays, but when Christ is left out, then it is a ritual without reality. If stores are decorating and getting ready for the Christmas Holidays before Halloween, then why not we decorate our house full of all these decorations during the Summer Holidays. I wonder if we are simply buying gifts just because it is a holiday instead of doing it because we want to. "If someone else is doing it, then we should as well." I wonder what us Americans would do if we saw 100s of people, male and females, going naked on the street? Would we take our clothes off and walk down the street with them just because they are doing it?

The Word "Christ" is a major part of Christmas, but we do not look at that aspect at all. Every year it is less and less that we reflect anything that has to do with the Word of God. If that is the case, should we change the name from "Christmas" to "Shopmas" or other concepts?

Which Browser to Use?

I have read many blog postings that stated that Microsoft IE browser is the worse. I have read many that state that Firefox is the worse. Just about each browser has a negative and positive opinion about it. With the fast growing Internet that chances as much as we change clothes each day, it is amazing that any browser can be called the best or the worst.

In being a web designer, developer, or even a web master, one needs to look through just about all the browsers. Most browsers are free to download and use without conflicting with the others as you look at the same or different websites. Luckily each browser is designed with the customers in mind. For people that do not know that much about computers and do not care for anything fancy as they surf the expanding Internet, using Microsoft IE7.0 just might be the best for them.

Since Firefox is just about the only browser that has the most extensions then any other browser, it could be the best for the ones that want their browser to do more then simply explore the Internet. I personally have my share of extensions for my copy of the Firefox 2.0. I have a few toolbars that I do not always have up and running at the same time. If I did have all of the toolbars up and running, I would have a very small window to look at the websites. I also do not use all my extensions all the time. I use them as a tool to be able to surf the Internet better.

Since I have graduated at a technical school in web page design, I can easily use the “Lanchy” extension to go to other browsers that I have install on my computer as well as use other email software or any other programs that the “Launchy” extension works with. To my view point, Firefox is the ideal browser for the robust web users. It has a great many extension tools for the ones that design web pages. Most importantly all the extensions are free to install and use.

How many extensions that one can use on a Firefox browser is based on a few things. One important thing is how new is your computer. The speed and the amount of memory that I computer has can make a giant difference in how many things can be executed on a computer. These days anything less then 1 MB of memory is too little. There many new software that needs a great deal of resources. When one has more then one of these software install on the same computer, the slower the computer might be when it has less then 1 MB of memory.

When deciding which browser is the best, think of what you want out of it. How do you want to surf the Internet makes all the difference in which browser is the best for you to have on your computer. Since some website are best used with one certain browser, then having a several browsers might be a very good idea. There is one thing to remember no matter how many browsers you use: always update it as soon as possible. With the fast growing Internet, the old versions may not be adequate to handle the new technologies.

There is also a security issue that needs to be addressed in using browsers. How much security you need or want on your computer just might depend on what browser you use. Even with the up-to-date firewall and antivirus software on a given computer, what browser is being used can make all the difference. Of course the best security that one can get while using the Internet is not to log on the Internet at all.

One can be too much security on one computer to the extent that no traffic can be run on that computer. Most of the most used free browsers do have adequate protection as long as you have the most updated version. Again if someone wants to break into your computer, it is not that much that could stop that someone. If one has an up-to-date firewall, antivirus, and software that deals with spyware, then that will be enough to protect your computer.

The bottom line with which browser to use is if one is fighting the browser to simply surf the Internet, then that browser needs to be updated, the computer that is being used is too old for todays technologies, or simply try a different browser. The Internet is not as simple as it once was. For the less intellectual computer users, it can be overwhelming at times. If one is still confused in which browser to use, then why not use all of them based on the needs at that particular time. Happy surfing. :-D

Why Does Bad Things Happen?

Throughout history bad things happen. Some of them are so terrible that one might wonder why God allowed it to happen. Did God allow the Jews to be murdered by Adolf Hitler? I say no. Why did it happen then? It happen because the world at that time was to much of cowards to stop it.

The world did fight Hitler, or it would not have been called World War 2. The coward behavior of the world was that no one stopped Hitler when they should have. There was a great deal that Hitler did before WWII got started. I strongly believe that God allowed things to happen by Hitler's hand to give the world a wake up call. Now we have this part of history to remind us of the result of being a coward not only on aspects like Adolf Hitler, but any acts of fear that we can have as a individual, as a nation, or even as a free world.

Now with the war in Iraq are we being tested as a nation in the United States? There is a great deal of talk of removing the troops from Iraq long before any hope of the war being over with. If we do drop out due to fear, then what would happen? I really cannot state what will happen, but I am concerned that a great evil could be the result. How easy cowards forget disasters like the one in the United States of America on September 11, 2001. If we run away from the fight at the wrong time, the United States could be attacked once again.

If it was not for England, the United States could have been attacked again. Since they were planning an attack while our troops are in Iraq, that tells me that we are doing the right thing. We should stay there to the end. Spite the fall that the new Iraq government is not working as expected does not mean we should leave the to the hell that have been put on them for so many years. Even though Saddam is captured and has been sentenced to be hanged, it does not mean that the treat to the United States is over. We were put into this war on September 11, 2001, and we should stay until this war is finished.

Any coward act is not a life with God. In that God wants us to stay in this war and fight the evil of it. What happens to our allies will in time happen to us. Again we have been attacked already. We are part of this war if we want to be or not. Right now we are fighting for our freedom, but if the certain members of the United States government gets their way, we could have our women of all ages thrown in rape rooms.

Remember that Saddam and his sons had rape rooms so that they could rape all sorts of women of Iraq and elsewhere. The ones we are fighting would do no less to every female in the United States of America and every female of the free world. Since we are the super power nation of the world of this day, we are responsible to eliminate the enemy of the free world. If we fail to fight due to being a coward, then freedom that we know could be completely and totally destroyed. All freedom comes at a cost through out the free world. It must be defended when it is threaten.

As with the Jews during World War 2, we the free world could have stopped Hitler before he even started the war. Do to fear, Hitler was able to take advantage of it. The Jews suffered from it as well as everyone else. After the war, we saw the evil horrors of the result of our fears in not stopping Hitler when we should. How we constantly handle the war in Iraq will show what history will remind us of our actions if we survive as a nation.

God did not allow the Jews to go through mass murder. He also want any thing bad to happen to the free world, but if we drop out of the war at the wrong time, things will happen that will bring sorrow throughout the world that I believe no one has ever been through. There is great hatred from the ones we are fighting. If Yoda is right in the Star Wars movie that “hatred lead to suffering,” then I believe great suffering will happen if we do not win this war in Iraq.

What is a Christian?

I have written a post on “What is Christmas?” I talked about that Christmas is a Christian holiday. Now I want to talk about what a Christian is, if I can. A Christian is simply a person that believes in the Lord Jesus Christ in faith alone in Christ alone. The thing that may get most believers is after salvation, what? That answer is to learn and apply the Word of God through the teaching of a pastor-teacher.

To sit in a classroom and learn on what a pastor-teacher teaches is the easy part. All the believer needs to do is have manners and discipline to sit still and not make noise so that he/she can listen as well as others can do the same. It is the application of what is being taught what is hard. To apply knowledge is the meat and potatoes of what has been taught. In life things are hard. There is an old Army slogan, “Anything worth having is not easy.”

For the Christian, there is nothing more important then the learning and application of the Word of God throughout his/her life. To live life as a Christian or otherwise must be done my first learning then applying. If you the reader do not believe me, then try living life without learning about the task you are going to do. To get a career job, one needs to get a special education for it. To grow as a Christian, knowledge needs to be attained.

As I have said, life can be hard. There is no promises in the Christian way of life as there is not promises in life itself. How one lives and applies the Word of God is the result of how one lives and grows as a Christian. It is the knowledge of the Word of God that makes the difference in how a Christian grows as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is one thing that makes the Christian way of life different then life on Earth as it were. There is no merit in God's way or in heaven.

That in itself may seem like the Christian way of life is easy since God is the one that is doing all the work and getting all the credit. There is no merit for the believer, but that does not mean that Christians sit on a park bench and do nothing. The life of science still applies, “Wither every action there is an opposite equal reaction.” If Christians or anyone else does not anything, then there cannot be any results. What Christians receive from the Lord Jesus Christ does not come from what we do. That is Grace. Grace is what the Christian way of life is all about. To become a Christian in the first place has everything to do with Grace.

No one can pay back for what the Lord Jesus Christ has none for all of us on the Cross. The Cross is more then the Roman Crucifixion. Our salvation is by substitution of Christ dying for our sins. It is what God the Father did to his uniquely born son that saved us from condemnation. Once we become a Christian, the question we need to ask is “after salvation, what.”

What is Christmas?

With all the different lifestyles that makes us who we are, what is Christmas? Is it a means of how we decorate our house, tree, and everything else? With all the lifestyles, religions, and other factors, what is the way to live out Christmas? First of all, Christmas is a Christian holiday. After all, Christ is in the word “Christmas.”

I am writing this posting not to degrade all the commercialism of Christmas. I am simply wanting to enlighten everyone that is reading this to fulfill their Christmas in their own lives. Let me come out with what this Christian holiday is about. Every church will teach, show, and reflect Luke chapter 2, the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ in His humanity. Why do we even want to do something like that?

This unique birth is not some simply human being going into existence. As most Christians know, God always existed. That is in all three God Heads, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. “God is the beginning and the end.” This means that nothing was before Him, nor anything after Him. When the Lord Jesus Christ came to this Earth for the sole purpose to take the place of the punishment of sinful man, He had to become man. This my no means that He was not God. When He was born as man, He became a unique creature of the Universe.

From that point, he was not God because He was man. He was not man because He was God. He will always be God no matter what. When he became man, he was able to become our substitute for our condemnation of our sinful nature. Christmas is a day that Christians recognize the day of that unique birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. What all Christians should realize is that we should reflect on Christ and what he has done everyday. That includes the birth and the Cross.

If we only celebrate Christmas just once a year just for the gift giving and all the other commercial aspects of Christmas and not put the Lord Jesus Christ first throughout our lives, then the ritual of Christmas is useless. There is nothing wrong with buying gifts and have families reunite on the one special day. To my way of thinking, when Christmas is celebrated without the Lord Jesus Christ, then it is an empty celebration.

There is a lot more to Christmas then just the birth of Christ. When he was given gifts it was in the understanding that He would be the one to be our Lord and Savior. So I ask you all, my readers, what is your Christmas reflection? Is it the Lord Jesus Christ, or is it something else? Remember this, If the Lord Jesus Christ is not 100% important to you, then your reflection is not on Him. The choice is yours to make. It is none of my business what you do as a Christian. I am writing this posting to enlighten the readers to live your Christian life to the fullest. We are responsible for our own lives.

Over many years of my live, I see the true purpose of Christmas being slowly and deliberately being forgotten. It is not just on the Christmas Holidays, but everyday. People seem to not care about one another as they did when I was growing up. I am now 40 years old. What I see between two people here lately is a big void. When I see people sitting a bench somewhere is a mall or anywhere else, they seem to be so far apart even if they were sitting just a few feet apart from each other. There is no social bonding at all anymore.

As anything it all starts in the home. What are parents teaching their children? What are parents doing with their children? I cannot say that my parents were perfect, but the time they spent with my sister and me, it made all the difference. Love has to be taught by means more than just words. It must be constantly shown to children in order for them to reflect upon it. That way they can love in return. When parents do not spend quality time with their children, their children will not be able to love anyone. They will not simply not no the reason why they should love.

Love cannot be simply understood as an academic. To be loved and to love in return is a process of how one is raised in the home. Why do you think that us humans live the longest in any living creatures throughout life itself? Love has everything to do with how we celebrate Christmas during the holidays and everyday. Love is for sure a very powerful ally. Love in our hearts can help us live through all the troubles life has to offer.

The love that we get from our parents will be the end results of how we live our lives when we become adults and leave home and become parents ourselves one day. So the answer to “What is Christmas?” is simply. It is true love. True love is unconditional love. It has no merit whatsoever. True love is the love that we have in ourselves. As this love grows in us, we can learn to tolerate many things throughout life. Whatever life throws at us, we can be relaxed under pressure.

If we understand fully of the love that was given to us by what the Lord Jesus Christ did on the Cross, then can we understand what Christmas truly means. If Christians can understand this one thing, then whatever they do with Christmas as decorating and whatever one does during the Christmas Holidays it will be very meaningful.

Smart or Scary? Software That Follows You

I want to say this about the article in question, "No matter how advance our technologies are they can never replace human beings." It is human beings that create the software/hardware in the first place. That is right there is usually more then one that creates all that we use and have in regards to computer hardware and software. If it takes so many to design, develop, and all what it takes to have the end product, how can our technologies be superior to humans? Only Hollywood can come up with this silliness that computers and everything else can replace the creators.

The reason for having our technologies in the first place is to improve on who we are as individuals and as a human race. While our technologies are helping us with the day to day task, we can do more to better ourselves in ways we could not otherwise. For instance: If it was not for washing machines, we would be spending many hours washing our clothes. Since we have them, we can do more things in our lives. With today's modern technologies, we can communicate in way we could never have done 30 to 40 years ago.

It is true bad things can come with our technologies. Because there are weeds in the garden does not mean that we stop planting the seeds each and every year. Whatever the pitfall is in life, only us human beings can turn it around for the better. Sometime it may take teamwork in order to make things happen in life. How many people it takes is not the point, but the effort in doing the job to produce the results.

The point this posting is simply our technology is a simple tool that we use to better our lives. Each tool to fit each job that needs to be done. Some tools may not work on all jobs. For example: one does not use a butter knife to saw wood, nor a saw to cut into a t-bone stake. Just the same we use things to better our existence. How we use them in our lives is how the end results produce fruit.

Weather keeps protesters in Chicago

It is articles like these that gives Christianity a very bad name. The Word of God NEVER has commanded Christians to protest on ANYTHING. First of all it is rude, and second it is a violation of right to privacy. Christians are suppose to MIND THEIR OWN BUSINESS. They are suppose to live their own lives under the Lord Jesus Christ. They are NOT suppose to live for others. Just the same Christians all over do just that. I can understand fully and completely why unbelievers do not want to be a Christian. Who would want to be a pain in the ass? I can tell you this for sure, "The Christian way of life is not how most Christians are suppose to act."

If pastor-teachers did their jobs properly, Christians would be able to learn and apply the Christian way of life. As all aspects of life, the Christian way of life has protocols for each and every Christian to live their lives under the Lord Jesus Christ. It is ashame that pastor-teachers do not do teach properly. Just the same, it is up to each and every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ to find our right pastor-teacher. No one can point fingers and blame others for our own actions. Christians today are given more responsibilities then any time under the Word of God. Protesting is not taking responsibilities for our own action. It is sticking our noses where it does not belong.

I cannot say that one's life will be better if they learn and apply the Word of God as they should. There is no promise in life. Just the same we should do what is right no matter what happens to us. If I do right, I know that I can live with myself on what I have done. As Job lost all what he had, he knew that he did the right things in his life. Since he held on in losing all what he had, God rewarded him for what he had learned over the years regarding to the the Word of God and how he applied it during his situations. Protesting is saying that God's protocols for our lives is not good enough. We say in effect, "We can do a better job."

Protesting is wrong not just in the Christian way of life, but in the aspect of the United States of America's Constitution. The preamble states, "WE THE PEOPLE. . . " It is freedom for all. When we protest about what others do, we say they are not part of "WE THE PEOPLE." Who are we, Christians or otherwise, to say who can be Americans or not? To my way of thinking, protesting is a aspect of evil.

Nearly Naked for National Security

This article tells me that Americans likes to fear over just about everything. What is the big deal over nudity? There is a big difference in pornography and simply nudity. Just about every country thinks that us Americans are simply silly when it comes to our fears towards the naked body. I personally would walk around naked if it would save lives. How easy do we forget what happen on September 11, 2001.

There is a great deal of talk that are privacy and freedoms are being taken away because of the security due to the aftermath of September 11, 2001. The USA could have been attacked early in 2007 if it was not for the United Kingdom stopping them. What would you rather be dead or seen naked by someone? Whatever the issue is focus on what is important to you. Freedom is very important. That is why so many are protecting our freedom today in the USA. Support them by growing up and not fussing over silly things.

Global Warming Could Disrupt GPS Satellites, Study Says

Global Warming is the one thing that I do not believe in. I have never in my life seen any true evidence that proves that it exist. Within the years that human beings been on this Earth, our records on the weather has been over a very short time. There is a great deal we do not know of the constant changing weather. It is easy to blame something that has nothing to do with the outcome, then to be patient in finding the true meaning behind why things happen. Since us humans do not nor cannot control the weather, the feel that they have to explain everything even though they do not understand what they are explaining.

Over many years, the weather is bond to change with strange and unusual ways. There are other things that can take many, many years to come to be. Haley's Comet only comes to the Earth every 75 years. When it came the last time, it was not as spectacular as it was in the early 1900s. If weird things happen with the weather and the Earth itself mean years apart does not mean they they world is coming to an end, nor that the Earth is warming too much.

There was at one time that people thought we were going to be in another "ice age." When the so called "warming" stops, what will people call the issue then? Whatever will happen will happen. As I stated, man cannot control the weather. If this "global warming" thing did exist, what can be done about it? The only thing that is being caused by talking about "global warming" as we do is fear. Certain scientist and others are simply feeding their own fears of what they do not know. They are also bringing a lot of ignorance of people throughout the planet with them.

I have heard and read that there are a great deal of evidence of "global warming," but I have never seen it. There is a great deal of information without fully understand what they are presenting. Even I could gather information and make something out of it that has nothing to do with what I am presenting as fact. In science, the facts must be true and fully understood before they can be used to even present a hypothesis. Why is the information that is being shown to show prove of "global warming" not being checked for authentication? How I look at it, it is the blind leading the blind in proving that "global warming" really exist.

Single Asteroid Impact, Not Two, Killed Dinos, Study Says

I have always been fascinated with the beginning of all beginnings of the Earth. In Genesis 1:1 it says, "In the Beginnings. . ." To prove this to be true, the dinosaurs did not with humans during human ancient history. There are evidence that creatures lived before the dinosaurs. It is amazing to find out how many different beginnings there have been before ours, and how long our planet have been in existence.

It seems that scientist are doing better in gathering the evidence of our past with the help of our technologies. Little by little the theories that been so silly are being proven wrong. What is more fascinating is what they come up with when they properly deceiver the evidence. We learn more about ourselves when we learn and deceiver the information of our past.

King Tut Died From Broken Leg, Not Murder, Scientists Conclude

It is interesting when someone special dies the so-called experts want to make their death into something spectacular. General Patton was a very great warrior. With all that he had to deal with during World War II, it was very sad that he was killed by a driver in a car. With hardly knowing King Tut, people cannot simply grasp that he died by a simple broken leg. When investigations are done, they should be done with no sides being picked first. That is the way to get the truth behind the evidence of the information that is being gathered.

Dr. Phil and Homeschool don't mix

In my opinion, neither home school, nor public/private school can work alone. What I mean is that parents should be a great part of their lives even in education. Parents cannot teach children everything. The biggest things is team playing with others. In getting any job in either a dead end or a career job, one needs to be able to work with others. For children to go to school with other students they can learn to work with others, even the trouble kids. Children needs to learn to deal with difficult people. Usually the bosses that is over their employees are the worse to get a long with. Even though the one that is in charge are difficult, one has to keep working under that pressure.

There is a great deal that schools cannot teach children nor should they. That one thing is about the human body. I personally do not like to call it "sex education." It is a great deal more to learn this the sex organs. The important issue in learning about the human body is not the physical aspect of it. This mostly has to do with Biblical ideologies. The Word of God SHOULD NOT be taught in schools for so many reasons that I could not write enough here. The main reason is that everyone believes different things others. The Constitution of the United States strictly draws a line between state and religion.

There is a great deal that parents can teach their children that no one else can. That is why it is so important for parents to be a great deal of their children's lives. School CANNOT replace parents. That is why I am writing this blog posting. When both the schools and parents teach their children can children learn fully and completely. That is how things are suppose to be with children. If you do not believe me, then parents that are reading this, take time to teach your children at home as a supplement to their education in school.
